Squash Canada offers the following NCCP workshops.
Club Coach: Learn how to work with junior competitive athletes looking to refine their intermediate skills and train for regional competitions in this 2.5 day intermediate coaching workshop. You will learn how to refine their basic squash skills, how to analyze their performance, as well as how to plan, schedule, and promote programs and activities.
Provincial Coach: This advanced coach training will prepare you to work with high calibre junior athletes over the long-term as you prepare them for regional/provincial tournaments. As a club professional or head coach, you will support the competitive experience of young adults from the Train to Compete stage of LTAD development.
Introduction to Squash: Learn how to meet the needs of recreational beginners of all ages through this 2.5 day introductory coaching workshop. The coaching fundamentals learned in this workshop will enable you to be a squash assistant or instructor, or will help you take your first steps towards coaching competitively in the sport.
Intermediate Instructor: Expand your coaching portfolio with this 2.5 day workshop that focuses on meeting the needs of recreational intermediate players. Participants will learn how to introduce intermediate strokes and how to provide support in competitions for their athletes.
