2017 Canada Games Women in Coaching Apprentice
Pole Vault Athlete & Development Coach
Robyn is a strong advocate of grassroot development of youth in sport. She recognizes how influential great coaching and mentorship can be in the positive development of young minds. From humble beginnings being coached by her father on a dirt track, to an accomplished varsity track and field career, she aspires to give back to the sport community that has given her so much.
Robyn completed her Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at the University of Calgary, fueling her passion for youth and community engagement. While completing her degree at U of C, she was the captain of her varsity track and field team, Head Coach of the youth track and field program, and a recipient of the Canada-West Student Athlete Community Service Award.
By day, Robyn works as a Program Coordinator for The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award- a youth development program. By night, she is a competitive pole vaulter and track and field coach.
