Partner Updates

In the wake of a successful Partners Day, we have a number of significant updates and announcements to share with you. Rather than overflowing your inbox with individual CAC updates, we’ve collated everything you need to know below!

Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation Webinar: With the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) taking effect on July 1, 2014, the landscape of digital communications in Canada will drastically change and will alter the way we all do business. To help you understand CASL and its implications, we’ll be hosting a webinar with our legal counsel who will help the partnership understand what CASL is and how it will impact both the CAC’s operations, and also the way you do business as our partners.

This webinar will take place Thursday, June 19th at 11am.

Making Head Way in Sport: Making Head Way in Sport is now available FREE to coaches across the country! This online concussion eLearning module is a valuable resource for coaches and parents alike, and is available through The Locker. Learn more about it here.

A Making Head Way in Sport marketing toolkit is available on the Partner Resources section on coach.ca. Please feel free to use these tools to share this great news with your coaches and athletes so as many people as possible can take advantage of this important resource.

Please note: the sport-specific versions of Making Head Way will continue to cost the standard $14.95 per use until further notice.

Coach Developers: The Coach Developer resources that are currently completed have been posted to the Partner Resources section on coach.ca.

To log in to the Partner Resources section use username: CAC and password: CAC_2010.

Coach Photo Gallery: Are you working on a coaching resource, or updating the coach section of your website, and the only coach images you have are from 1972? Looking for images from Partners Day? All of the CAC’s event images, logos, and hundreds of other new, high resolution coach photos are available onthe new CAC Photo Shelter.

The easiest way to access these images (and the new images we’ll be adding regularly) is to create a free Photo Shelter account. This will allow you to create your own lightboxes (collections of images you want to save for later use), and see what images you’ve downloaded in the past.

To download images from Photo Shelter use the password: CAC!2010.

If you have any problems using the Coach Photo Gallery or Photo Shelter feel free to contact Julie Parkins-Forget at jforget@coach.ca

We’ll have more information about the operations of Coaches of Canada as a department of the Coaching Association of Canada in the near future. Stay tuned.
