Ozzie Sawicki, ChPC

Ozzie Sawicki is a Canadian Chartered Professional Coach who has been involved from entry-level recreational sport delivery through to world-leading high performance sport at the national and international level for over 25 years.

Ozzie was the Head Coach and Program Director of the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team from 2000 to 2004, Head Coach of the Para-Athletics Program with Athletics Canada from 2009 to 2011, and Performance Advisor to the Canadian Para-Equestrian Team at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

In Salt Lake City in 2002, Ozzie was Para-Alpine Head Coach of the alpine team that won 12 medals of the total 15 earned by Team Canada at those Games. Most recently, Ozzie was incredibly proud to serve as Team Canada’s Chef de Mission for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, where Canada met its goal of being top-3 in the world in gold medal count -- finishing third with seven gold, two silver, and seven bronze medals.
