Judo Canada offers the following NCCP workshops:
Dojo Assistant: This workshop is designed for Judokas who want to start coaching or simply help in the delivery of beginner judo programs. The basis of the workshop is about understanding teaching methods and fundamental movement skills in the sport, as well as learning to be supportive of athletes in an ethical manner. Over this weekend course, you will be asked to practice 10 hours on the mat and to acquire knowledge via six hours of interactive classroom sessions.
NOTE: It is required to have a Green belt in judo to sign up for this workshop.
Dojo Instructor: If you are interested in continuing your judo coach training, this workshop will initiate you to practice planning, and to coaching children (7 to 13 years old) in competitive settings. To be a Dojo Instructor, you must already have your Dojo Assistant training as well as have a brown belt in judo.
