Dance Circle

Stage of Activity

5 - 10 minutes

Number of People

How it Works

The group will get into a circle. One person will be picked to be the detective. They have to leave the circle and go out of hearing distance. Then the group will then pick a dance leader and start dancing. The group has to follow the dance moves of the designated person. Then the detective will come back and stand in the middle of the circle. They will try and pick out who the leader is. The leader has to try and switch the dance moves around without being caught by the person in the middle. The person in the middle has 3 tries to guess who the leader is. If they don’t guess who it is, the leader wins. The group then choses the next leader and detective.

Great for warm-up. Working on the participant’s visual and motor reaction time, balance, jumping and agility.

Can be played on a court, field, and gym
