Cyndie Flett Steps Down

For Immediate Release

OTTAWA (January 24, 2014) – After 16 years of being fiercely committed to coaching in Canada and driving dynamic and powerful change, Cyndie Flett, has decided to step down from her position of Vice-President of Research and Development at the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC).

Cyndie’s passion and deep knowledge of coaching and coach education has influenced thousands of coaches from grassroots to high performance. She was instrumental in creating our world-renowned National Coaching Certification Program, as well as being a tireless advocate for women, aboriginals, athletes with a disability, school sport, and other groups in coaching in Canada. That passion, talent, and knowledge has also been recognized by the international coaching community, and most recently by CAAWS for her precedent setting work done in eLearning.

The CAC will be forever grateful for her dedication, and wishes her well as she embarks on her new journey.
