CEO Memo: Staff Changes

Dear Partners,

As we have gone through a period of transition I wanted to take the time to send you a quick update on staffing. I am proud to announce that Marc Schryburt has been appointed Chief Operating Officer with the CAC, effective immediately. Schryburt will also retain his title of Director, International Programs and continue his work implementing the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) internationally. New hire, Valerie Aji, has replaced Schryburt as the Director, Finance and Administration. Aji comes to us as a designated Certified Management Accountant with vast experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit environment.

Schryburt and Aji will join with Jonathan Lavoie-Copeland, who has been promoted to Director, Information Technology, and two other Directors who are scheduled to be hired by April 2014, as the new Senior Management team for the CAC -- along with myself.

We’re fortunate to have two outstanding employees ready to take the next step into these roles and are very pleased to welcome Valerie and her vast experience to the organization.

I’m confident that we will also be able to hire outstanding individuals to fill our vacant roles of Director, Marketing & Communications, and Director of Education Partnerships in the coming weeks so that we can continue to move forward with raising the skills and stature of coaches in Canada.

We will also be hiring a new bilingual Communications Coordinator to take over Krissy Murphy’s duties as she moves into her new role as Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships. Lucie LeBel and Regina Gauthier are also moving onto the Finance & Administration team – Lucie as Coordinator, Official Languages, and Regina as Assistant, Operations.

As it relates to the CAC Coaching Consultants, our objective is to maintain each appointed consultant with their respective NSOs in order to eliminate disruption in our service to your organization.

A CAC staff listing, along with all contact information, can be found here:

In the interim, our team will continue to work hard to maintain our level of service. Please do not hesitate to contact any one of us if you would like to discuss this transition in more detail.
