Application Timelines

The review process begins when your application is submitted to the License and Registration Committee. The Committee reviews and decides whether to grant you the Registered Coach license or ChPC designation. This Committee review takes between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on the time of year.

Once a decision is reached, you will receive confirmation by email and are required to declare your ethical conduct and sign the license agreement. Your designation or license will then appear on your Locker transcript and you will be considered in good standing with the Professional Coaching Program.

The Licensing and Registration Committee is a standing committee of the Professional Coach Program at the CAC, staffed by volunteer ChPCs who have extensive coaching experience. Their mandate is to oversee the License Agreement and the Registration Agreement of ChPCs and Registered Coaches. The Committee is responsible for evaluating and approving applications of individuals for the ChPC designation and the Registered Coach license.

Note: Submitting an incomplete application will result in delays, as the CAC will need to contact you for any missing documents or information.
