Kelly Anne Erdman
A 1992 cycling Olympian, Kelly Anne Erdman, R.D., is currently the lead dietitian for the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary, where she consults with eleven Olympic and Paralympic national teams (women’s alpine, biathlon, cross-country skiing, athletics, women’s hockey, swimming, short track speed skating, long track speed skating, curling, paralympic biathlon, and paralympic swimming).
At the high performance level, Kelly Anne is an instructor for the National Coaching Institute in Calgary, and is a consultant to the Calgary Flames Hockey Club and the Calgary Hitmen (Western Hockey League). Most recently, she was a menu consultant for the athletes' village at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
Her commitment to sports nutrition spans from high performance consulting to the community-level. She frequently provides workshops to community-based sports teams and writes articles for local magazines. She has co-developed and presents: "Sport Nutrition Tools of the Trade”, a half-day workshop on behalf of the Dietitians of Canada as well as having co-developed the extensive Sports Supplements OnLine Course for the Dietitians of Canada.
