Sport Matters Group - (SMG): Sport
for Canada
www.sportmatters.ca/content/home.asp
Using the interactive bear-pit session from years past,
and involving a philanthropist, a senior policy-maker,
and a social change strategist, we’ll engage around
the question of how sport is changing the nature of
Canada, and why.
This highly participatory session will link the group’s
observations with the next SMG policy framework for
sport and will encourage all of us to think about, discuss
and act on what sport can do for Canada in the decade
ahead.
Join your peers, colleagues, and friends – and
a few experts – in more than a conversation about
our future together.
Fee: $50.00

Sport Canada: Senior Leaders Forum
The 2008 Senior Leaders Forum will provide
an opportunity for Sport Canada to engage senior leaders
from across the national sport community and from provincial/territorial
governments in a stimulating dialogue on Canadian sport
system issues. The Forum focuses on "cross-cutting
issues" - those which affect more than one area
of Sport Canada's programming - deserving of further
investigation. Building on the successful discussions
from 2007, the Senior Leaders Forum serves to inform
a variety of ongoing Sport Canada activities.
