Online Mentor Program

What is the Online Mentor Program?

Many women coaches, particularly those in sports that have few women in coaching positions, feel isolated and unsupported. The Women in Coaching Online Mentor Program is designed for women coaches at all levels who want an opportunity to receive feedback from and exchange ideas with an experienced coach.

How do I apply for the program?

If you are a Canadian woman coach and you have taken at least one NCCP course, simply complete the application form and submit it. Every attempt will be made to pair you with an appropriate mentor and your application will be kept on file until one is found. Coaches will be paired with mentors on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep in mind that the mentors are volunteering their time, and many are still actively coaching; we ask that you have realistic expectations.

How do I become a Mentor?

If you are a woman coach who has regular access to e-mail, is willing to volunteer a few minutes a week to respond to e-mails, and is NCCP Level 3 certified, we would like to hear from you. Complete the application form and submit it. We will try to pair you with applicants according to their needs and your abilities and experience.

The Women in Coaching program will offer ongoing support by providing resources that will assist you in your role as a mentor.
