Alexis Williams

Alexis Williams is a Registered Dietitian/nutritionist. She holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Guelph in applied nutrition, as well as holding the International Olympic Committee’s diploma in sports nutrition. She is also a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

Her involvement in sports nutrition includes working with the Canadian Sport Centre Ontario to serve national and elite level athletes, as well as working with the Paralympic men's wheelchair basketball team and many other individual athletes and teams.

She teaches the National Coaching Institute Level 4/5 nutrition course in Ontario and works with many college and university athletes including McMaster, Brock, and Humber. She is a co-author to a Sports Nutrition Guidebook for varsity athletes as well as being frequently published in fitness and health magazines including the Running Room, Triathlon Magazine Canada, and Canadian Cycling Magazine. Her personal athletic achievements include being an avid triathlete where she has competed at all distances including an Ironman in 2009. She is passionate about sports nutrition and fuelling athletes of all levels.
